Hi-Bot’s articulated robot arm can operate even in tight spaces
Hi-Bot has delivered the articulated robot arm “Float Arm” to the BASF Antwerpen factory.
The Float Arm is a multi-link long-reach manipulator that can operate in confined spaces with obstacles (such as inside pipe rack facilities or pressure tanks), where human access is severely restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns.
High-definition equipment inspections can be performed at any location. Designed to be lightweight and easy to carry, it eliminates the need to construct scaffolding, which was previously required for inspections, making it possible to significantly reduce inspection time and costs.
