Rapyuta Robotics has installed the collaborative picking assist robot ”Raputa PA-AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot)” at the Atsugi branch of Yasuda Warehouse.
With the introduction of this robot, they will change to multi-order picking and leave the transportation to the unloading area to the robot, reducing walking time for work staff.
Data obtained from robots can also be used to visualize the productivity of work staff. By using the obtained data for individual follow-up with work staff, the overall picking efficiency will be improved as a result.
In addition, AMR data will be used as part of continuous improvement activities, such as analyzing traffic jam locations and making some layout changes based on the acquired data.
